Auguste

Auguste is a Croatian singer-songwriter pop duo of Gordana Marković and Ivana Lulić, who have been making music together since 2012. Gordana sings and plays acoustic guitar, Ivana sings and plays percussion.

As a duo they started with a stripped-down pop, recognisable by unusual vocal arrangements over a single guitar. After various projects and collaborations they began writing their own songs, and with the arrival of Jerko Jurin on drums, Tomislav Leko on keyboards, Marko Radić on bass and Gordan Dragić on electric guitar the sound grew into fuller arrangements, while keeping the vocal play between the two singers.

Their first singles were "Ona" and "Magla" in 2014, followed by "Budiš more" and "Sjajim" in 2015. They reached the final of the HR Demo klub in 2014. Their debut album, Sve što je nekada bilo važno, was released by Dallas Records on 15 October 2015; made with Tomislav Šušak, it adds touches of jazz, indie folk and retro sounds to their songwriting. In 2016 they were nominated for the Porin as best new artist, and released the single "Tražiš neki razlog".

They have played festivals such as Terraneo, SuperUho, Ferragosto and Medvedgrad.
