About Senada Redžić

Senada Redžić is a Bosnian folk singer, born on 23 May 1958 in Bihać. She made her name in the 1980s on the big labels of Yugoslavia, from Jugoton and Diskos to Sarajevo Disk and Jugodisk, and kept recording through the 1990s.

Her first album, Namigni mi, came out on Diskos in 1983. In 1985 Jugoton released her album Senada, played by the orchestra of the accordionist Perica Simonović, with "Dodirni me", "Daj šta daš", "Sto godina", "Zorane, zora je" and "Toplija sam od plamena". Simonović arranged and produced her next records too: Ti si meni sve on Sarajevo Disk in 1986, with "Ti si meni sve", "Karanfil" and "Još te nema", and another album called Senada on Diskos in 1990.

Pustite me samu, released by Jugodisk of Belgrade in 1989, brought "Pustite me samu", "Sjaj u oku", "Tri želje", "Hej živote", "Čigra", "Šalimo se" and "Čekala sam tebe željno", with Hanka Paldum among the backing singers. Through the late 1980s her songs appeared on the video hit parades of Sarajevo Disk, Jugodisk and Production MB.

In the 1990s she recorded for Embex, Halix and MAM Produktion, with albums such as Čovjek mog života (1994), Lude igre (1996), Idi, idi đavole (1997) and Bojim se noći (1998), and songs such as "Boginja samoće" and "Šejtan duša". The playlist here holds her albums Namigni mi and Senada.
