Thee Melomen

Thee Melomen are a garage punk and rock and roll band from Zagreb, formed in 2014. They sing in English and take their sound from the Rolling Stones and New York Dolls of the 1970s and the fuzz-drenched garage rock of the 1960s, from bands such as The Seeds and Blue Cheer.

The four-piece is Vex Voxtone on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, tambourine and maracas, Mislav Kurspa on bass and vocals, Ive Babić on lead guitar and Vex Wombat on drums and vocals. In 2016 they released the self-made seven-song EP Chinatown, and in 2017 they appeared on a limited seven-inch single shared with Mike Watt's Secondmen and two other bands.

Their album Disappear came out on Street13 in 2018. In 2022 they followed it with the singles "Black Rain", released on their own, and "Turn the Page" on Martin's Garage Records. Their recordings are gathered here in one playlist.
