About Stivideni
Stivideni were a satirical rock band from Split, active from the mid-1990s until 2002. They played country rock with a comic edge, writing humorous songs of their own and parodies of old hits, and had their own show, Stividenska posla, on Splitska televizija.
The band was led by Stevo Vučković, known as Stividen, with Denis Bižaca, Robert Grubić "Gobbo" and Zdenko Mamić. Their debut album Po mojim stopama came out on Croatia Records in 1997, followed by Čudo on Orfej in 1999, a live EP recorded at the Evala Splite show (Croatia Records, 2000) and Stividenska posla on Millennium Records in 2001.
Their best-known songs include "Idemo na Bačvice", "Ići mići", "Papadžo", "Krolj škojića", "Svu tvoju ljubav" and "Tvornički puknut". The playlist is Croatia Records' Stivideni best-of collection, which also has "Braća s Brača", "Jela s roštilja", "Urban cowboy" and "Ispovijest Salmonelle Krafnić".
