About Pseća plaža

Pseća plaža ("Dog's Beach") is an audio-visual band from Zagreb, formed in 2016, that plays psychedelic, summery surf rock with lyrics in Croatian. Their music has been described as psychedelic melodies, dreamy and personal poetry and pulsing tropical rhythms, and the band's own videos and artwork are as much a part of it as the songs.

The band first used the English name Dog's Beach. Its psychedelic debut album, Honolulu, came out in 2017, when the group was still a trio. In 2018 it took the Croatian name Pseća plaža as a sign of support for the local scene, and on 13 September that year it played in Slovenia for the first time, opening for Svemirko at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana.

After several line-up changes the band grew into a quintet. The second album, Povratak u lagunu br. 07, came out in March 2019 with ten songs and guest appearances by Hrvoje Nikšić and Roko Crnić, followed the same year by Nijanse and in 2020 by "Čudne stvari", recorded with Nemanja. In November 2019 the band returned to Kino Šiška with a concert of its own.

Their Discogs page lists the line-up as Erol on vocals, Lucian Mirdita on guitar, Matej Perić on drums and percussion, Leo Beslać on keyboards, synthesizers and organ, and Branimir Štivić on bass, synthesizers and sound design. Songs such as "Crni čaj", "Vjetrovi sa juga", "Teško je imati glavu" and "Preko" are in the playlist here.
