About Prismojeni profesorji bluesa
Prismojeni profesorji bluesa, known in English as the Wacky Blues Professors, are a Slovenian blues rock band. Their energetic blues rock mixes in funk, country, jazz and the psychedelic rock of the 1960s and 1970s. The band is guitarist and singer Julijan Erič, Miha Erič on harmonica, lap steel guitar and vocals, bassist Miha Ribarič and drummer and singer Zlatko Đogić.
In 2014 and 2015 they played concerts all over Slovenia. The material for their debut had been recorded long before it came out, but the studio was flooded and rescuing the recordings took time. In March 2016 the album Family finally appeared on Zavod Orbita, produced with Borut Činč, once keyboard player of Buldožer, who also played his Hammond organ on it. The band presented it on 16 March with a four-hour concert at Kino Šiška. In May 2016 they were one of the two headliners at the student festival Vičstock in Ljubljana.
On 16 September 2016, before leaving for a tour of the United States lasting several months, Prismojeni profesorji bluesa filled Križanke in Ljubljana on a rainy evening. The concert was recorded with RTV Slovenija and came out after their return, on 19 April 2017, as the double live album Križanke Live on Dallas Records.
Studio albums followed: Wacky Blues Professors (2018), Prismojeni? (2020) and Walk This Road Alone (2026), released on vinyl by Nika. Their songs include "Hit the Town", "Borrowed Time", "Devil Got Me Shakin'" and the Slovenian-language "Srce" and "Slej al prej".
