About Mašinko
Mašinko is a punk rock band from Zagreb, formed in 2010, and has become one of the leading bands of the punk scene in Croatia and the region. Its music is energetic and melodic, carried by big, multi-voiced choruses that sound like anthems.
The band began in 2010 as a group of friends who got together to play punk rock and have fun. The members have swapped instruments now and then, and a guitarist was once replaced for a while, but everyone who has ever played in Mašinko is still in it: Marin Šulentić Šulc sings, Petar Predrag Perica, Lovro Koružnjak and Andrija Ražnatović play guitar, Srđan Grbić Srki bass and Bojan Horvat Pitura drums.
Their debut album, Mašinko, was recorded in a single day in 2010. The same year they released the Christmas split single "Sretan Božić (bit će bolje)" with their friends Fraktura mozga, and in 2011 the split album Frakturko with them. That year they also opened for Hladno pivo at the Arena in Zagreb.
In 2012 they released their first video, "Kako je Potjeh tražio rakiju", followed by "Erupcija sreće" and "Sretan", and played the Dirty Old Festival and the Sarajevo Punk Fest; in 2013 they made their mark at the InMusic festival in Zagreb. In January 2014 the singles "Oči pune suzavca" and "Nešto novo nešto divlje" announced the album Svugdje je doma, ali lijepo je najljepše, released a few weeks later.
Godina majmuna/Majmun godine, a split album with Debeli precjednik, followed in 2016, then the singles "Punim plućima" and "Veća lopata" (2018). The album Danas ću, sutra ću came out in 2020 on Dostava zvuka and Dirty Old Label, and Pozovite rapsode in 2023. In 2026 the band released Proslava proslava proslava, after the videos "Na ramenima divova" and "Gorija" (2025) and with "Vukojeb".
