Dino Jelusick

Dino Jelusick (born Dino Jelusić on 4 June 1992 in Požega) is a Croatian hard rock and heavy metal singer, musician and songwriter who has lived most of his life in Zagreb. Known in Croatia first as a child star, he has built an international career with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Whitesnake and his own band Jelusick.

His parents played instruments and he was singing from the age of three. At ten he wrote "Ti si moja prva ljubav", and in 2003 he sang it at the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen and won with 134 points. His debut album No. 1 followed the same year, with an English version in 2004, and he toured the United States, Scandinavia and Australia. At twelve he was the youngest ever nominee for the Porin award.

As his voice changed he turned to the music he had grown up with, from Whitesnake to Dream Theater and Toto. The album Living My Own Life (2011) was recorded in Melbourne and Malmö, and after an operation on his vocal cords in 2014 he released Prošao sam sve, a concept album written entirely by himself. In 2016 he won the New Wave contest in Sochi. In 2012 he formed the hard rock band Animal Drive, which signed to Frontiers Records and released Bite! in 2018 and the covers EP Back to the Roots in 2019 before splitting up in 2021.

In 2016 a live performance of Queen's "The Show Must Go On" brought him into Trans-Siberian Orchestra as a touring singer. He also sang with Stone Leaders, The Ralph and George Lynch's Dirty Shirley, sang the whole of Michael Romeo's album War of the Worlds, Pt. 2 (2022), and in July 2021 joined Whitesnake as backing singer and keyboard player. In 2024 he was the singer of Whom Gods Destroy, with Derek Sherinian and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, on their album Insanium.

His own band Jelusick released Follow the Blind Man in September 2023, which won the Porin for best rock album, and Apolitical Ecstasy in 2025. At home he is also known from television: in 2019 he won HRT's Zvijezde pjevaju with actress Tara Thaller, and he was a mentor on The Voice Hrvatska.
