Rezervni točak

Rezervni točak (Spare Wheel) was a rock band from Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing hard rock and later pop-rock. It was founded in 1982, after the drummer Vukić Raspopović Vule and the bassist Slavko Rebić left another Doboj band, Tok života. Singer Asim Kapetanović and guitarists Antonio Kuffner and Senad Lakić completed the first line-up, and Samir Šestan soon joined on keyboards.

The debut album, Miris žene i benzina, was recorded in Belgrade in the studio of Enco Lesić and released by Diskos in 1983, produced by Miodrag Bata Kostić. It opens with "Ti si žena koja grabi od života", with music by Kuffner and words by the poet Duško Trifunović, and also holds "Rokerska klica", "Jutra se ne bojim", "Idi kući" and "Ostani k'o prije".

The second album, Poslije tebe, was recorded at the Aquarius studio in Belgrade between late 1983 and early 1984 and came out on Diskos in 1984, produced by Ratko Ostojić. Kuffner and Šestan wrote the songs together, and the sound turned towards pop-rock in "Poslije tebe", "Reci mi", "Jutra se bojim" and "Dubler". The band played on television and gave concerts across Yugoslavia.

In 1985 Šestan joined the Sarajevo band Divlje jagode but kept helping his old group. He was preparing songs for a new album when the band rejected his idea of bringing in guest musicians, and the work stopped. A third album, Zvižduk sa ulice, was still recorded in May 1988 at the LR studio of Avala film in Belgrade, with Laza Ristovski on keyboards and programming, and released by Diskoton of Sarajevo in 1989. On it Kapetanović and Nermin Mehinović sing, with Dobriša Gavranović on guitar, Žarko Karanović on bass, Robert Pinter on keyboards and Raspopović on drums; it holds "Lijepe djevojke", "Zvižduk sa ulice" and "Neka mi Cigani do jutra sviraju".
