About No Name Nation
No Name Nation is a punk rock band from Skopje, North Macedonia, active since 1994, that writes all its songs in Macedonian. The Macedonian Wikipedia's history of rock in Macedonia names it among the first hardcore punk groups that appeared in the country in the second half of the 1990s, alongside Smut, Fluks, Sidewalk and Siniac.
The band's self-produced debut album came out in September 1999 with 14 songs. In 2000 the French label Tian An Men 89 released Underground Macedonia, a split record shared with Blla Blla Blla. No Name Nation also appeared on several compilations and played many concerts around Macedonia, with songs such as "Punk's not dead", "Devojkite od Aerodrom" and "Turbo revolucija".
A second album followed in March 2018. On 16 March 2025 the band released Bezimeni ("The nameless"), eleven songs recorded at Fokus Studio in Skopje, produced by the band itself and recorded and mixed by its drummer, Vladimir Mitrevski Gjule. The line-up on it is Božo Vučinić on vocals and guitar, Metodija Atanasovski on guitar, Robert Sisirkoski on bass and Mitrevski on drums.
Bezimeni opens the playlist here with "Mojata generacija", "Kapitalizmot", "Zombi nacija", "Govor na omraza" and "Debeliot centarfor", followed by the songs of the two earlier albums.
