Macbeth

Macbeth is a Bosnian pop-rock band. Its singer Hamza Ražnatović writes most of the music and lyrics, together with the guitarist Zenan Šahinović, and the band arranges its own songs. Oljeg Ogy Ražnatović recorded and produced their albums of 1998 and 2001.

Their album Kajlo stara! came out in 1998 on M Sound and Avanti, with "Jedan dan", "Kraljica", "Mahala", "Opsesija" and the title song, plus five songs from an earlier record: "Odlazim daleko", "Crne oči", "Nije ljubav", "Živjeti" and "Ti u mislima". In 1999 they sang "Puteva je mnogo" at the Bihać festival and put "Jedan dan" on the compilation BH Pop Rock 1, and in 2000 they took "Pokaži mi kud da krenem" to the Forte pop festival in Sarajevo.

Samo jedan je (2000) brought "Nema puno prijatelja", "Bila je lijepa" and "Sanjam", with Muamer Stočević on bass, Džemal Novaković on guitar and Nino Pršeš on keyboards, and The Best Of came out the same year. The album Crne oči followed in 2001 on Terra and M Sound, and Istinom in 2003 on Big Best Company in Sarajevo, with "Slagao me je", "Neka mi oproste" and "Kad je otišla". "Crne oči" was later included on the anthology BH Pop Rock Leksikon - Gori vatra! (2004).

The band keeps an official YouTube channel with almost fifty of its songs and videos, including a concert at Skenderija. The playlist here is the album Kajlo stara.
