Konvoj

Konvoj is a pop-rock band from Sarajevo, formed in 1988, and it is still based in the city: that is why it is on Muzika-Balkan. The founding members included the guitarist Hamdija Salihbegović, the bassist Muamer Đozo, the drummer Mirsad Krupalija and the singer Davor Ebner.

Because of the war their first album only came out in 1997: Sa vremenom, on In Takt Records, with "Fobija", "U tvojim očima", "Ljubav ima razloge", "Ja ne znam ko si ti" and "Kad zablude me ostave". Bez razlike followed in 1998, with "Nek' kiše prate me", "Lagala si" and "Za mene si rođena", and Varijante i dumine in 2000, with "Vjetar briše sve", "Komšija", "Uzalud riječi" and "Evergreen". In 2000 they also sang "Još ovaj put" at the Budva festival.

Pun mjesec, their fourth album, came out in 2004 on Hayat Production. Its song "Ograjisana" was among the nominees for the Bosnian Davorin music awards in 2005. Then the band took an eight-year break for personal reasons. They came back in December 2012 with the single "O slobodi", presented at the Sloga club in Sarajevo, where the rock critic Amir Misirlić called them one of the city's most important bands. The members said of themselves that without love there is nothing, and that the band itself is love. The album Mimosvijet (2014, Tropik) followed, with "Radost i veselje" and "Ludnica".

The line-up has changed around Salihbegović over the years. Since the 2010s the band has been Salihbegović on lead guitar, Nedžad Merdžanović on vocals and guitar, Haris Varajić on bass and Bojan Crnogorac on drums; Samir Bajraktarević, Almir Čopra, Damir Arslanagić and Adis Vuga also played with them. On their own channel they share stages with Indexi (1996) and Dino Merlin (Koševo, 2000), sing "Evergreen" with Sabahudin Kurt and pay tribute to Ekatarina Velika.

New singles keep coming: "Balkan dert" (2023), "Gladne oči" (2025) and "Upecan" (2026). The playlist is the band's own 2022 concert recording of twelve songs from across its career.
